Job Title: Founding Full-Stack Developer (Backend-Leaning, Equity-Only)

We're building our MVP with cutting-edge tools: Vertex AI Search, LangChain, Qdrant, and OpenAI Vision APIs — all wrapped in a sleek, user-centric interface.

The Role

We're seeking a founding full-stack developer with a strong backend focus to help build the MVP. This is a hands-on, equity-only role — perfect for a builder who wants to get in early, shape the product and architecture, and own core technical decisions alongside the founder and AI systems engineer.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build backend services, APIs, and data pipelines (Node.js, Python, or Go preferred).

• Integrate with AI/LLM services like Vertex AI, LangChain, and OpenAI APIs.

• Build and manage a scalable vector database using Qdrant.

• Contribute to frontend implementation using React or other JS frameworks as needed.

• Collaborate on product features such as user onboarding, design preference quiz, image analysis, and smart product recommendations.

• Set up cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred), deployment, and data workflows.

• Work directly with the founder on sprint planning, Jira tickets, and agile development.

Ideal Background

• 4+ years full-stack experience with backend strength.

• Strong in backend frameworks and API development.

• Experience with cloud services (GCP preferred), Firebase, or serverless architectures.

• Comfortable working with LLMs, vector databases, or eager to learn fast.

• Startup DNA — scrappy, resourceful, self-directed, and excited by the unknown.

• Bonus: past experience in e-commerce, interior design, or mobile apps.
